Throughout her career, Mercedes Wong has been deeply committed to giving back, championing initiatives that create lasting, positive change in her community. She actively supports organizations that make a meaningful impact, including the Seniors Services Society of BC, which provides essential services and programs for older adults; the Aboriginal Mother Centre Society, dedicated to supporting Indigenous families and empowering mothers and children; and Rotary World Help, which delivers vital health, education, and community projects locally and internationally.

Her dedication extends beyond these organizations, as she regularly volunteers her time, expertise, and resources to strengthen community programs, mentor emerging leaders, and foster opportunities for those facing social or economic challenges.
